- Who it's for
- People who want a familiar test brand and will read the insert in the box.
Clearblue sells ovulation tests, pregnancy tests, and fertility monitors. The touch-screen Fertility Monitor reads urine tests for estrogen and luteinizing hormone (LH) and shows Low, High, or Peak on the device. Clearblue says that monitor is for trying to conceive and should not be used as contraception. The Advanced Digital Ovulation Test also detects LH and estrogen. The company says some connected ovulation tests need the free Clearblue Period & Cycle Tracker app to show a result, and that the app can also be used on its own. They also offer a free Menopause Stage Indicator app. A home test can be used too early or read incorrectly. Follow the insert in the box.
Pros
- Ovulation tests, pregnancy tests, and fertility monitors, sold in stores.
- Free companion apps, including a cycle tracker and a menopause stage indicator, on iPhone and Android.
Cons
- Sticks and monitors cost money, and a test used too early or read wrong will mislead you.
- The app does not replace the instructions in the box.
